Ms. Perez’s primary areas of practice include employment and personal injury defense in Texas and New Mexico. Ms. Perez represents management in all aspects of employment law. This includes defending employers in employment discrimination and retaliatory discharge lawsuits and advising and training employers and their employees on workplace issues and claim prevention. She has significant trial experience in arbitrations, termination proceedings before the Texas Education Agency, Administrative Law Judges, and local Civil Service Commissions. Additionally, in her personal injury practice, she has lead counsel jury trial experience in defending companies and individuals against negligence claims.
Ms. Perez was named as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine; Outstanding Young Lawyer by the El Paso Young Lawyers Association; Outstanding Attorney by the El Paso Paralegal Association; and Outstanding Member by the Mexican-American Bar Association.
