Cindy M. Vazquez

Cindy M. Vazquez is a shareholder and handles a variety of litigation matters, ranging from emergency accident response and investigation to jury verdicts, in the areas of personal injury, premises and products liability, trucking, transportation, and insurance defense. Cindy’s fluency in Spanish allows her to seamlessly communicate with and represent cross-border motor carriers and Hispanic businesses.

Some of Cindy’s representative experience includes:

-Obtaining a favorable verdict for a construction company defendant following a three-week trial brought by twelve plaintiffs alleging property damage;

- Obtaining an arbitration award in favor of a homeowner who brought construction defects claims against a regional home builder;

- Obtaining a favorable seven-figure settlement for a landlord in a wrongful death action prior to trial;

- Obtaining summary judgment in favor of a client in a non-subscriber wrongful death action;

- Resolving death cases; some while acting on behalf of defendants and others while representing plaintiffs;

- Successfully negotiating and resolving cause-and-origin fire damage claims involving multiple motor carriers;

- Successfully negotiating the resolution of discrimination claims against one of Mexico’s leading food processors and distributors;

- Obtaining a favorable reversal of an administrative decision taken by the Texas Medical Board against a cardiologist;

- Obtaining a favorable settlement against a non-subscriber in a personal injury case prior to arbitration the parties’ hearing; and

- Assisting in a successful seven-figure settlement against a regional construction company and six contractors involving complex construction defect claims.
